PVC / CPVC Solvent Cement

Pipe Cementing System · Grade Selection & Curing Data

Solvent cements for PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings, supplied in a range of grades for different viscosities and curing times, covering every size from 1/2" to 30". Used with the matching surface-softening primer, they quickly soften the pipe wall and raise bonding strength. Suitable for chemically resistant piping systems carrying hypochlorite, mineral acids, hard water and saline solutions, as well as PVC chemical process pipework.

Product Features

✦

Graded by Viscosity

Choose from 711 high-viscosity through 719 ultra-high-viscosity according to pipe size and site conditions: high viscosity for small-bore thin-wall work, ultra-high viscosity where a thicker film and better gap filling are needed on large diameters.

✦

Primer Boosts Bond

P-68 and P-70 surface-softening primers quickly soften the pipe wall so the cement forms a stronger chemical fusion layer, measurably raising bond strength.

✦

Chemical Resistant

For chemically resistant piping systems, and for service with hypochlorite, mineral acids, hard water and saline aqueous solutions, as well as PVC chemical pipework.

✦

Coverage to 30"

A complete range from 1/2" (20mm) to 30" (800mm), so a single order covers small-bore through very large-diameter fabrication.

✦

All-Weather Application

Curing time extends automatically in cold, humid conditions, and dedicated weather-resistant and cold-grade cements keep the joint sound in both summer heat and winter cold.

✦

Documented Curing Data

Full curing tables by temperature band, diameter, relative humidity and pressure class, plus joints-per-gallon figures, so site scheduling and consumption can be calculated in advance.
